No need to maintain forks. All necessary delta is stored in the form of patches.\n   Benefits: Such patches are a lot easier to maintain. No need to merge/rebase\n   fork repositories. Patches are much easier to review by external auditors to\n   ensure high project trustworthiness.\n\n2. Atomic changes.\n   Benefits: Classic approach may require synchronization of multiple changes in\n   different repositories. Gerrit has a \"Topic: \" field for this purpose, but\n   GitHub/GitLab doesn't support such flow. The mono-repository approach makes it possible.\n   CI is much easier to integrate.\n\n3. Decouple devices or devices group from each other.\n   As time has shown, maintaining all devices under the same manifest is impractical.\n   It significantly increases the release cycle since all devices must be validated before\n   publishing. Also, some devices may require custom patches on top of AOSP or vendor\n   components, while others don't.\n   It also allows different people to maintain different devices independently,\n   benefiting from using a common code, without waiting for each other.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fglodroid%2Fglodroid_manifest","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fglodroid%2Fglodroid_manifest","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fglodroid%2Fglodroid_manifest/lists"}
