API\n============\n\nA thin layer on top of the JDBC API that takes care of awkward boilerplate\ncode, such as retrying transactions that are aborted because of a deadlock and\nreconnecting to the database server if the connection is lost.\n\nFeatures\n--------\n\n * Enforces the use of transactions.\n * Automatically re-connects the database if the connection is lost (e.g. due\n   to a timeout.)\n * Automatically retries transactions if they fail due to deadlock. Deadlocks\n   are a [normal][mysql-deadlock] [occurrence][pg-deadlock] in many database\n   servers and it is the user's responsibility to retry transactions that are\n   aborted because of a deadlock. The maximum number of attempts and delay\n   between attempts is configurable.\n * Maintains a configurable, fixed-size pool of open connections.\n * Provides both a synchronous and an asynchronous API.\n\nInstallation\n------------\n\nThis project is available in the [Maven][mvn] Central Repository.
