NodeJS v5.11.x or higher\n- NPM\n\nSee `./package.json`\n\n## Installation\n\nSource available on [GitHub](https://github.com/gregl83/quick-bench) or install module via NPM:\n\n    $ npm install quick-bench\n\n## Usage\n\nAfter requiring quick-benchmark create a new instance. Call the start method, log some events, then call the end method and finally \nthe results method to obtain quick benchmarks for JavaScript code.\n\n```js\nvar Benchmark = require('quick-bench')\n\nvar benchmark = new Benchmark()\n\nbenchmark.start() // time is recorded in ms\n\n// todo some application code\n\nbenchmark.event('eventLabelOne')\n\nbenchmark.event('eventLabelOne') // events should occur many times to get useful benchmarks\n\n// todo some more application code\n\nbenchmark.event('eventLabelTwo') // n number of events can be logged\n\n// todo perhaps some more code\n\nvar results = benchmark.results() // automatically calls benchmark.end()\n```\n\nThe above will set the `results` variable equal to an object with the following format:\n\n```js\n{\n    elapsedTime: milliseconds,\n    events: {\n        eventLabelOne: {\n            total: 2,\n            perSecond: total / (elapsedTime / 1000)\n        },\n        eventLabelTwo: {\n            total: 1,\n            perSecond: total / (elapsedTime / 1000)\n        },\n    }\n}\n```\n\nThat's it!
