To do so,\nyou need to create an account and connect to the [Application registration page](https://octopart.com/api/dashboard) \nat Octopart and register an app (choose whatever name and url you want). From there \nyou can copy the API key, e.g. 'ab12cd45' and use it the following way:\n\n % pyparts -k ab12cd45 lookup 'NE555'\n\nor store it in a config file, to avoid putting the key at each invocation of the tool,\ndefault location being `~/.config/pyparts.cfg`. This file should be an INI\nfile, with the key stored as the 'apikey' value in the [general] section:\n\n [general]\n apikey = ab12cd45\n\nor if you want to store your config file elsewhere, you can:\n\n % pyparts -c ~/.pyparts.cfg lookup 'LM317'\n\n## Development\n\nif you just want to develop, you can do:\n\n % buildout\n\nwhich will download dependencies and deploy the CLI tool in `bin`:\n\n % bin/pyparts\n\nYou can run regression tests using:\n\n % bin/test\n\n## Roadmap\n\n * [ ] Other aggregator support\n * [ ] Bills of material support\n * [ ] Offers/pricing support\n * [ ] Add tests\n * [x] Configuration file support\n * [x] Octopart support\n * [x] Definition of basic CLI API\n\n## Author\n\nBernard `Guyzmo` Pratz \u003cpyparts at m0g dot net\u003e\n\n## License\n\n![Under the GPLv3 License](https://www.gnu.org/graphics/gplv3-127x51.png)\n\n Pyparts, Python utility to lookup and browse parts from commandline\n Copyright (C)2015, Bernard `Guyzmo` Pratz\n\n This program is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify\n it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by\n the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or\n (at your option) any later version.\n\n This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful,\n but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of\n MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
