The two projectors are stacked onto each other and two\nsmall parts of polarizer cut from cheap/thin polarizer glasses are\ntaped over the objective lenses of both projectors.\n\n![projecting](projecting.jpg)\n\n*Stereo image projected with two T20 projectors*\n\nThe image can be projected onto any surface that does not destroy\npolarization like e.g. a silver screen or the matte side of a piece of\naluminum foil.\n\n![stacked](stacked.jpg)\n\n*Two stacked T20's*\n\n## Linux udev rules\n\nTo give regular applications the permissions to connect to the\nT20's via USB a udev rule file is provided [here](udev/45-t20.rules).\nCopy this file to ```/etc/udev/rules.d```.\n\n## Viewer\n\nThe viewer serves two purposes. This adds an output\ndriver for the T20 to mplayer. If more than one T20 is detected, then\na stereo mode is activated and the video to be replayed is expected to\nbe stereoscopic, either side-by-side vertically or horizontally. The\nt20 driver tries to figure out automatically which alignments the\nimages have.\n\nOn a ubuntu system a matching mplayer can be built like so:\n\n```\napt-get source mplayer\nsudo apt-get build-dep mplayer\ncd mplayer-1.3.0\npatch -p1 \u003c../mplayer_1.3.0_t20.patch\ndpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -b\n```\n\nThis will build debian packages installable on your system.\n\nExample vidoes can e.g. be found\n[here](https://www.3dtv.at/Movies/). Videos should be scaled to the\nprojector size of 640x480.
