Start the App\n\n- Run `UniversalConverter.exe` (or `python main.py` if using source).\n\n### 2. Pick a Converter\n\n- Select the type of converter from the dropdown (Audio, Image, PDF, etc.).\n- An **info message** below the dropdown will tell you if extra software is required  \n  (e.g. *\"Audio conversion requires ffmpeg installed\"*).\n\n### 3. Choose Output Format\n\n- Select the format you want to convert to (e.g. `mp3`, `jpg`, `pdf`).\n\n### 4. Select Input File or Folder\n\n- Browse for a file.  \n- Or enable **Batch Mode** to convert all files in a folder at once.\n\n### 5. Upload to Temp\n\n- Click **Upload** → the app makes a safe copy of your input(s) into a temporary folder.  \n- Your originals stay untouched.\n\n### 6. Convert\n\n- Press **Convert**.  \n- Progress and messages appear in the log box.\n\n### 7.
