(Heaps IDE) is an extensible editor that can be used as a middleware for various tasks, such as:\n- preview 3D models and textures\n- edit materials properties\n- create timeline based visual effects and movements\n- create whole 3D levels, place lights, paint terrain, bake shadow maps and volumetric light maps\n- create and edit 2D and 3D particles systems\n- edit and modify your [Castle](https://github.com/ncannasse/castle) Database\n- extend by adding game specific prefabs\n- extend with your own game specific editors\n\n## Nightly builds\n\nIf you don't want to build Hide from source, you can download a nightly build from [here](http://build.heaps.io:8080/hide/).\n\n## Compiling from source\n#### 1. Build Heaps IDE\n- Clone this repo\n- Run `haxe hide.hxml`\n- This will create hide.js in the bin folder\n- If there are errors when compiling, make sure you are using the latest libraries from git\n\n#### 3. Install NWJS\n- Download and copy [NWJS](https://nwjs.io/) SDK into the `/bin/nwjs` directory\n- On OSX, copy all files from `bin` into the `bin/nwjs.app/Contents/Resources/app.nw` folder\n\n## Running\n\n- Windows: Run `hide.cmd`\n- Linux: Run `nwjs/nw .` (don't miss the trailing space and dot)\n- OSX: Open the NWJS application\n\n## Configuration\n\nIn your project's resource folder, you can create a `props.json` configuration file to override Hide's default settings. Refer to `bin/defaultProps.json` for the list of available settings. \n\n\n## Extending Hide\n\n### Custom plugin\n\nIn your project, create an hxml configuration for building the plugin.
