This project\nprovides you with defaults such as a Chart of Accounts valid for use in North\nMacedonia.\n\nYou have to know Macedonian to understand the chart. It is\n[described](http://www.ujp.gov.mk/mk/regulativa/opis/72) by the Internal\nRevenue Service.\n\nAll accounts have the form:\n\n```\nmk:\u003cclass\u003e:\u003csubaccount\u003e:\u003cyour custom account\u003e\n```\n\nFor example, to declare a cash account, use:\n\n```\ninclude mk.journal\n\n; Declare and alias the bank account number account for Macedonian denars\naccount mk:10:0:\u003cbank account number\u003e\nalias cash_mkd_\u003cbank\u003e=mk:10:0:\u003cbank account number\u003e\n\n; Declare the banking expenses account for the bank\naccount mk:44:6:\u003cbank\u003e\nalias bank_expenses_\u003cbank\u003e=mk:44:6:\u003cbank\u003e\n\n; Banking liabilities fall under general service liabilities in North Macedonia\naccount general_liabilities_mk=mk:22:0\n```\n\nTo record the liability and expense entries for paying the bank account\ncommisions, you can do something like:\n\n```\n; Liability to pay comission starts each month the bank account is active\n2023-01-01 Bank account comission\n  bank_expenses_\u003cbank\u003e  MKD \u003csum\u003e\n  general_liabilities_mk\n\n; Liability is closed once the month ends\n2023-02-01 Paid bank account comission\n  general_liabilities_mk  MKD \u003csum\u003e\n  cash_mkd_\u003cbank\u003e\n```\n\n## License\n\nPublic domain.
