I used the \u003ca href=\"https://developers.data.dc.gov/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eDC Master Address Repository API\u003c/a\u003e to retrieve addresses for points that readers click on the map. The basemap data is from \u003ca href=\"https://www.openstreetmap.org\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eOpenStreetMap\u003c/a\u003e, with tiles generated using \u003ca href=\"https://github.com/onthegomap/planetiler\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ePlanetiler\u003c/a\u003e and processed using \u003ca href=\"https://github.com/felt/tippecanoe\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eTippecanoe\u003c/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https://protomaps.com/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eProtomaps\u003c/a\u003e. I built the map with \u003ca href=\"https://maplibre.org/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eMapLibre\u003c/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https://turfjs.org/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eTurf\u003c/a\u003e. I styled the base map in part using \u003ca href=\"https://maputnik.github.io/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eMaputnik\u003c/a\u003e and generated font files with \u003ca href=\"https://github.com/maplibre/font-maker\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eMapLibre's Font Maker\u003c/a\u003e using \u003ca href=\"https://fonts.google.com/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eGoogle Fonts\u003c/a\u003e.
