Copy the tests files to your project.\n 2. In your virtual environment, install pytest: ``python -m pip install pytest``.\n 3. Run ``python -m pytest tests/``.\n\n\nTolerance to bad randomness\n---------------------------\n\nIn order to make the tests as simple as possible, the tests only test if the\nresults are correct, not if they are truly random. Some examples:\n\n* If you are supposed to put 5 fish and 3 sharks randomly on\n  the Wa-Tor planet, the tests will check whether there are\n  indeed 5 fish and 3 sharks. The tests will not check how\n  random their position is.\n* If a creature can move down or left, the tests will check whether\n  the final location is valid, but the tests will not check whether the creature\n  picks it's destination randomly.\n* If you are supposed to choose a random age between 1 and 10, the tests will only\n  check whether all the values are within the limits (i.e. using 4 as the\n  hardcoded value will pass).\n* As an exception, ``test_fish_move_over_border`` relies on randomness a bit,\n  see the comment in it if you want to know more.\n\nPlease **be random where you are supposed to be random**. When in doubt, ask us.\n\nThis will pass the tests (but not the manual check\nwhen grading the task):\n\n.. image:: https://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/random_number.png\n   :target: https://xkcd.com/221/\n\n\n\nLicense\n-------\n\nThis code has been dedicated to the Public Domain, it is licensed with\n`CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain\nDedication \u003chttps://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/\u003e`__,\nfull text of the license is available in the LICENSE file in this\nrepository.\n\nThe above xkcd comics by Randall Munroe is licensed with `Creative Commons\nAttribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License \u003chttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.5/\u003e`_.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fhroncok%2Fwator_tests","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fhroncok%2Fwator_tests","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fhroncok%2Fwator_tests/lists"}
