The house is entirely\nself-sufficient, which means it is out-of-grid for water and\nelectricity. There is also no central heating system. And for the most\ncurious of you, dear readers, the house is made of straw, wood, and\nearth, while being super modern! But this repository is about programs\nthat are used for the home automation, monitoring etc.\n\n# Navigation\n\n## 🪟 Blinds\n\nBlinds are controlled by the `blinds.ino` program, that lands in a\nControllino, along with its companion `blinds`. [Learn more](blinds/).\n\n## 🚿 Domestic Hot Water and 🌬️ Ventilation\n\nSupplied air, extracted air, temperatures, CO\u003csub\u003e2\u003c/sub\u003e, Domestic\nHot Water (DHW), Storage Hot Water (SHW) etc. are monitored with the\n`nilan` program. [Learn more](dhw-ventilation/nilan/).\n\n## ⚡ Electricity\n\nBatteries, PV inverter, and house are monitored with the\n`victron-reader` program. [Learn more](electricity/victron-reader/).\n\n## 💡 Lights\n\nLights are controlled by the `lights.ino` program, that lands in a\nControllino, along with its companion `lights`. [Learn more](lights/).\n\n## 💧 Water tanks\n\nThe house uses rain for everything. Rain is collected inside 2 water\ntanks. The `tanks` program runs in an ESP to calculate the remaining\nwater in the tanks. [Learn more](tanks/).\n\n## Transport\n\nThe transport is composed of two parts: The (electric) vehicle itself,\nand its charging station:\n\n### 🚗 Electric vehicle\n\nThe electric vehicle is a Kia EV6, it has its own program to fetch\nvehicle data via Kia Connect. [Learn more](transport/kia/).\n\n### 🔌 Charging station\n\nThe charging station is an Alfen Eve Single S-line, it has its own\nprogram to fetch and to control it. [Learn more](transport/alfen/).\n\n## 🌤️ Weather\n\nWeather can be requested through the `weather` program. It collects\nand exposes a set of interesting weather data. [Learn more](weather/).\n\n## Domestic Appliances\n\nDomestic Appliances are used for thiner monitoring. For the moment,\nonly the dishwasher is supported with the `vzug-reader`\nprogram. It can be understood as a WebThing gateway. It provides a\nnice real-time overview of several WebThings, like the battery, the\nsolar PV, the ventilation, the domestic hot water, the humidity\netc. It also adds actions to control several things, like the lights\nand the blinds.
