[homebridge-config-ui-x](https://github.com/oznu/homebridge-config-ui-x) and install `homebridge-tuya`.\n\n#### Option 2: Manually Install:\n\n```\nsudo npm install -g homebridge-tuya\n```\n\n## Configuration\n\u003e UI\n\n1. Navigate to the Plugins page in [homebridge-config-ui-x](https://github.com/oznu/homebridge-config-ui-x).\n2. Click the **Settings** button for the Tuya plugin.\n3. Add your device types\n4. Add device parameters\u003csup\u003e[10](apple.com/)\u003c/sup\u003e\n5. Restart Homebridge for the changes to take effect.\n\n\u003e Manual\n\n1. Edit the config.json file to add your device types, and parameters. \n2. Restart Homebridge\n\n\n## Known Issues\n\n1. If your devices add, but you can't control them, make sure you entered the DataPoint \"DP\" values for your device. \n\n## Troubleshooting\n1. Make sure the plugin is up-to date\n2.
