ide-ibmstreams [Beta]\nIBM Streams support for Atom-IDE using the IBM Streams SPL langauge server.\n\n### Beta\nThis is the initial public release.  For best results should also install these Atom packages:\n* language-ibmstreams-spl\n* streams-dark-syntax\n* streams-light-syntax\n* atom-ide-ui\n* build-ibmstreams\n\n### Setup Instructions\n#### Build - Streaming Analytics Credentials\nThe \u003cb\u003ebuild-ibmstreams\u003c/b\u003e package requires a running IBM Streaming Analytics service. SPL applications will be built and deployed on this service. If you need to create one, start \u003ca href=\"https://console.bluemix.net/catalog/services/streaming-analytics\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ehere\u003c/a\u003e and follow the instructions to create an account.\n\n\u003cb\u003eNote:\u003c/b\u003eThe service needs to support V2 of the rest api.\n\nOnce you have an account go to your \u003ca href=\"https://console.bluemix.net/dashboard/apps\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003edashboard\u003c/a\u003e and select the Streaming Analytic service you want to use. You need to make sure it is running and then copy your credentials to the clipboard. To get your credentials select \u003cb\u003eService Credentials\u003c/b\u003e from the actions on the left. From the credentials page, press \u003cb\u003eView credentials\u003c/b\u003e for the one you want to use and press the copy button in the upper right side of the credentials to copy them to the clipboard.\n\nIn Atom there is a setting in the \u003cb\u003ebuild-ibmstreams\u003c/b\u003e package for the credentials. Go to \u003cb\u003eAtom-\u003ePreferences-\u003ePackages\u003c/b\u003e and press the \u003cb\u003eSettings\u003c/b\u003e button on the \u003cb\u003ebuild-ibmstreams\u003c/b\u003e package and paste your credentials into the setting.\n![](./images/atomcredssetting.png)\n\n#### Toolkit Folder\nThe \u003cb\u003eide-ibmstreams\u003c/b\u003e package includes support for all the product toolkits. If you use any other toolkits in your application those toolkits need to be downloaded to your workstation and all placed within a single folder.\n\n\u003cb\u003eNote:\u003c/b\u003e The toolkits need to be built.  Download a release of the toolkit if available.\n\nThe toolkit path setting needs to be set to your toolkit folder’s path. To do that:\n\u003cb\u003eAtom-\u003ePreferences-\u003ePackages\u003c/b\u003e, find the \u003cb\u003eide-ibmstreams\u003c/b\u003e package and press \u003cb\u003eSettings\u003c/b\u003e button.
