It is controlled from a webpage hosted by the Raspberry Pi.\n\n## Required programs to run it\n- [Python 3.6.1](https://www.python.org/) because python\n- [Pi Blaster](https://github.com/sarfata/pi-blaster) drives the motors\n- [MJPG Streamer](https://github.com/jacksonliam/mjpg-streamer) controls the cameras\n\n## CAD Models\n\n- [Firing mechanism](https://a360.co/2V8koB2)\n- [File containing: circuit mounting plates, turret mount, and jack for testing treads](https://a360.co/30BIuWb)\n\n## Architecture\nThe user interacts directly with the Raspberry Pi. The webpage provided decodes the user input into left and right motor speeds, turret angles, laser levels, and gun firing. The Pi has direct control over the cameras, drive, and yaw gimbal stepper. It sends commands over I\u003csup\u003e2\u003c/sup\u003eC to the Arduino, which controls the firing, pitch gimbal stepper, and laser pointer.\n\n## Materials\nObject\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t| Source\t\t\t\t\t| Estimated Cost\n---\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t| ---\t\t\t\t\t\t| --:\nTank chassis \t\t\t\t\t\t| A seller on eBay\t\t\t| $25\nRaspberry Pi \t\t\t\t\t\t| Amazon\t\t\t\t\t| $35\nArduino Pro Mini (clone)\t\t\t| eBay\t\t\t\t\t\t| $2\nNEMA 17 stepper motor\t\t\t\t| eBay\t\t\t\t\t\t| $10\nHacked 28BYJ-48s (now bipolar)\t\t| eBay\t\t\t\t\t\t| $5\nStepsticks\t\t\t\t\t\t\t| eBay\t\t\t\t\t\t| $3\nH-Bridge\t\t\t\t\t\t\t| eBay\t\t\t\t\t\t| $2\nMechanical parts in the gun \t\t| 3D Printed\t\t\t\t| $2\nMounting plates for electronics \t| 3D Printed\t\t\t\t| $0.25\nVarious other electronics\t\t\t| eBay\t\t\t\t\t\t| $10 at most\n**TOTAL**\t\t\t\t\t\t\t| Windows 10 Calculator\t\t| **$94.25**\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fifd3f%2Ftanksberry-pi","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fifd3f%2Ftanksberry-pi","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fifd3f%2Ftanksberry-pi/lists"}
