VTK files can be written without\n  additional software installed (e.g. VTK's Python bindings).\n\n* `XDMF \u003chttps://www.xdmf.org/index.php/Main_Page\u003e`__ data files.\n\nPyVisfile supports many mesh geometries, such as unstructured\nand rectangular structured meshes, particle meshes, as well as\nscalar and vector variables on them.
