Aber wie Funktioniert\ndiese Technologie eigentlich, wie sicher ist sie wirklich, welche Hürden gibt\nes und wo liegen ihre Grenzen?\n\n## Description\n\nWebRTC ist ein in Entwicklung befindlicher Standard, der den Einsatz von\nEchtzeitkommunikation im Browser ermöglicht.  Dabei wird für die Übertragung\nder Daten eine Ende-zu-Ende verschlüsselte Verbindung zwischen den Browsern\nverwendet und es werden keine, oft fehleranfällige, Plugins wie Adobe Flash\nbenötigt. Nicht zuletzt aufgrund dieser Vorteile erfreut sich die Technologie\nzunehmender Beliebtheit und wird nicht nur in neu entstanden Projekten wie\n[palava.tv](https://palava.tv) sondern z.B. auch von Facebook verwendet.\n\nDer Vortrag bietet eine Einführung in die Möglichkeiten von WebRTC und gibt\neinen Überblick über den Standard aus der Sicht eines Webentwicklers bis\nhinunter zur Übertragung der Informationen im Netzwerk.\n\nEin besonderer Fokus liegt auf den Chancen und Probleme die WebRTC in Bezug auf\nDatenschutz und Datensicherheit mit sich bringt.
