You can use it to visualize your \nthoughts in tree-like structures. It is also useful for time management, \nself-organization and sorting through new ideas and complex contexts.\n\nVYM includes a powerful personal task manager, which allows to adjust\npriorities or reminds you after easily defined time spans.\n\nYou can use the scripting capabilities for interesting presentations. \nVYM can also retrieve data from the Jira issue tracking system and \ntalk to the Confluence documentation system.\n\nVYM runs on Apple and Windows and of course most Linux platforms.\n\nDocumentation\n-------------\n\n* PDF\n\n    The complete documentation of vym is available as PDF document in\n    English, French and Spanish. (Check also the\n    homepage above for details):\n\n    On the command line you can\n\n      cmake .\n      make\n      make install\n\n    or using Qt Creator (recommended on Mac and Windows):\n\n    In \"File\" do \"Open file or project\" and select the\n    \"CMakeLists.txt\". This will setup the project.\n\n    \n    For testing you probably need to tell vym where to find various\n    files like macros, demos, etc. On the commandline you can do this\n    with the \"-l\" option.
