This will install the Nupkg as a dotnet global tool.\n\n# Update\n\nRun `dotnet tool update -g IntelliTect.EssentialCSharp.ListingManager`. This will update the Nupkg for use globally.\n\n# Usage\n\nAny command can be run with these optional parameters.\n\n- `verbose` -\u003e provides more detail into what the command is doing\n\n`ListingUpdating` can be run with the following additional optional parameters.\n\n- `preview` -\u003e leave files in place but still print actions that would take place to console\n- `by-folder` -\u003e changes a listing's chapter based on the chapter number in the chapter's path\n- `chapter-only` -\u003e changes only the chapter of the listing, leaving the listing number unchanged. Use with `byfolder` \n\nRun `ListingManager` from the command line. \n\nFor available commands run `ListingManager -h`. This will display all the commands available to you.\n\nTo update Listings at a path provide the Chapter's path and specify the `ListingUpdating` mode.\n`ListingManager --path \"user/EssentialCSharp/src/Chapter03/\" --mode ListingUpdating` or \n`ListingManager --path \"user/EssentialCSharp/src/Chapter03/\"`\nNOTE: It is highly recommended that you commit and push your changes before running this command. Once you are confident\nthat the proposed changes are what you want, you can run the command without the `--preview` modifier.\n\nTo find potentially mismatched listings in a chapter run, \n`ListingManager --path \"user/EssentialCSharp/src/Chapter03/\" --mode ScanForMismatchedListings`. Potentially mismatched listings\nwill be printed to the console.\n\nTo run all chapters in powershell from ListingManager directory,\n```\nGet-ChildItem -Path 'insert.srcPathNameHere' -Directory | Where-Object {\n!$_.name.EndsWith(\"Tests\")\n} | ForEach-Object {\nlistingmanager --path $_.FullName --preview --verbose\n} \n```\n\n# Pushing new versions\n\nThe easiest and best way is to create a new release with a tag number and version number that are identical in the format of vx.x.x and a nuget release will be created and uploaded with that same number.\n\nIf you want the more difficult method:\nTo push a new version from the command line you must first pack the changes as a nupkg by running `dotnet pack` at \nthe solution level. If the pack is successfully navigate to the directory where the nupkg was created. Run \n`dotnet nuget push IntelliTect.EssentialCSharp.\u003cversion\u003e.nupkg -k \u003cApiKey\u003e -s https://api.nuget.org/v3/index.json`.
