Getting Access Token\n\n- Get your Intercom Access Token from the [Developer Hub](https://app.intercom.io/developers/_)\n\n![Intercom access token](/docs/AccessToken-Apply.png)\n\n- Note: some API endpoints require an [Extended Access Token](https://developers.intercom.com/docs/personal-access-tokens#section-extended-scopes)\n   - If you try to access these endpoints with a Standard Token you will get a `Not authorized to access resource` error (full error details shown below)\n   - Ensure to apply for an extended access token\n\n```\n\"errors\": [\n\t{\n\t\t\"code\": \"token_unauthorized\",\n\t\t\"message\": \"Not authorized to access resource\"\n\t}\n]\n```\n\n## 3.
