An open source USB to CAN-FD protocol.\nSuperCAN works with [these devices](doc/README.devices.rst) to form an USB to CAN-FD interface.\n\n## Supported Devices\n\nHave a look [here](doc/README.devices.rst).\n\n## Supported Operating Systems\n\nSuperCAN supports Windows 10 and Linux.\n\n\n## Apps\n\n### Windows\n\n- [CAN++](https://github.com/TDahlmann/canpp)\n- [CANdevStudio](https://github.com/GENIVI/CANdevStudio)\n\n_NOTE: Kindly ensure you have the device driver package installed on your system. Ensure you have copied the plugin from the Windows archive into the plugin folder of CANdevStudio._\n\n### Linux\n\n- [can-utils](https://github.com/linux-can/can-utils)\n- [CANdevStudio](https://github.com/GENIVI/CANdevStudio)\n\n_NOTE: Kindly ensure you have the device driver built and loaded into the kernel. See below._\n\n\n## Windows API \u0026 demo app\n\nBuild the Visual Studio solution in the Windows folder. I use Visual Studio Community 2019 which is available free of charge for non-commercial products (as of this writing).\n\nThe solution contains code for a demo application that sends and dumps CAN traffic.\n\n### Python\n\nA [python-can](https://python-can.readthedocs.io/en/stable/) plugin is available. See [here](Windows/python/README.md) for details.\n\n## Linux SocketCAN driver\n\nTo build the Linux kernel module, please follow [these instructions](https://github.com/jgressmann/supercan-linux).\n\n# License\n\nSuperCAN is available under the MIT license. SuperCAN uses FreeRTOS and TinyUSB which are both available under the same license.\n\nThe Linux driver is available under GPLv2 or MIT.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fjgressmann%2Fsupercan","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fjgressmann%2Fsupercan","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fjgressmann%2Fsupercan/lists"}
