This token allows the action to access the GitHub API for your account. Workflows automatically provide a default `GITHUB_TOKEN`, which provides full API access. You create a secret from a [new token](https://github.com/settings/tokens) with `public_repo` scope to limit the action's footprint.\n \n**NOTE** Binding to issue or pull_request `edit` actions is _not_ recommended.\n\nCreate a workflow definition, for example `.github/workflows/community.yml`:\n\n```yaml\nname: Community\non: \n  issues:\n    types: [opened, edited, milestoned]\n  pull_request_target:\n    types: [opened]\n\njobs:\n\n  labeler:\n    runs-on: ubuntu-latest\n\n    steps:\n    - name: Check Labels\n      id: labeler\n      uses: jimschubert/labeler-action@v2\n      with:\n        GITHUB_TOKEN: ${{secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN}}\n```\n\nNotice that the PR event is [pull_request_target](https://docs.github.com/en/actions/reference/events-that-trigger-workflows#pull_request_target) rather than `pull_request`.
