Both are intended to help chemists create floating\ngraphics and match published styles.\n\nThe `chemscheme` package consists of two parts, both related to\nchemical schemes.  The package adds a `scheme` float type to the\nLaTeX default types figure and table. The `scheme` float type\nacts in the same way as those defined by the LaTeX kernel, but\nis intended for chemical schemes.  The package also provides a\nmethod for adding automatic chemical numbering to schemes.\n\nThe `chemstyle` package provides a \"one-stop shop\" for setting up\nformatting of LaTeX documents following the editorial policies\nof various chemical journals.  It provides a number of handy\nchemistry-related commands, and loads several support packages\nto aid the chemist.\n\nInstallation\n------------\n\nThe package is supplied in `.dtx` format and as a pre-extracted\n`.zip` file, `chemstyle.tds.zip`. The later is most convenient\nfor most users: simply unzip this in your local `texmf`\ndirectory. If you want to unpack the `.dtx` yourself, running\n`tex chemstyle.dtx` will extract the package whereas `latex\nchemstyle.dtx` will extract it and also typeset the\ndocumentation.\n\nTypesetting the documentation requires a number of packages in\naddition to those needed to use the package. This is mainly \nbecause of the number of demonstration items included in the \ntext.
