I've wanted to do something with polar coordinates since working on the [ABC 2013-14 ashes catches game](http://www.abc.net.au/news/sport/cricket/ashes-2013-game/), so here's a little radial shooter for a bit of fun.\n\n## Development\n\nThis project uses [Gulp](gulpjs.com).\n\n### Prerequisites\n\nThere's a couple of rerequisites that I haven't included in the Gulpfile.\n\n* Build the SVG package. `cd src/img;noode encode.js`\n* Build the compacted campaign files. `cd src/campaign;node jsonpact.js`\n\nYou only need to build these when you change the files in the respective dirs.\n\n### Developing\n\n1. `npm install`\n2. Run `gulp` to start up a server on localhost.\n\n### Building\n\n* `gulp build` builds everything into dist/ and packages Chrome Web Store and\n    Firefox Marketplace targets into chrome.zip and firefox.zip.\n\n## Platform support\n\nThe game has been tested and made to work on the major browsers.\n\nBrowser            |Support | Mobile\n-------------------|--------|--------\nChrome             | A+     | Yes\nFirefox            | A+     | Yes\nSafari             | B      | Yes\nAndroid Browser 4+ | B+     | Yes\nInternet Explorer  | F      | No\n\nThere have been reports IE just displays a blank screen, but I haven't got a\nWindows machine or the time to debug it. The game should (eventually) work on\nIE 9+.\n\nSafari on iOS is kinda slow. It's playable but visibly choppy. I'm not sure if\nit's slower hardware, browser or both.\n\n## js13k\n\nThe #js13k build is in a separate \"js13k\" branch, and includes some last-minute\noptimisations to bring it under the required filesize.
