src=\"https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jsgoecke/tesla/master/images/tesla-model-x.png\"\u003e\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\nThis library provides a wrapper around the API to easily query and command the a [Tesla Model S](https://www.teslamotors.com/models) remotely in Go.\n\n## Library Documentation\n\n[https://godoc.org/github.com/jsgoecke/tesla](https://godoc.org/github.com/jsgoecke/tesla)\n\n## API Documentation\n\n[View Tesla JSON API Documentation](https://tesla-api.timdorr.com/)\n\nThis is unofficial documentation of the Tesla JSON API used by the iOS and Android apps. The API provides functionality to monitor and control the Model S (and future Tesla vehicles) remotely. The project provides both a documention of the API and a Go library for accessing it.\n\n## Installation\n\n```\ngo get github.com/jsgoecke/tesla\n```\n\n## Tokens\n\nYou may get your tokens to use as client_id and client_secret [here](http://pastebin.com/fX6ejAHd).\n\n## Usage\n\nHere's an example (more in the /examples project directory):\n\n```go\nfunc main() {\n\tclient, err := tesla.NewClient(\n\t\t\u0026tesla.Auth{\n\t\t\tClientID: os.Getenv(\"TESLA_CLIENT_ID\"),\n\t\t\tClientSecret: os.Getenv(\"TESLA_CLIENT_SECRET\"),\n\t\t\tEmail: os.Getenv(\"TESLA_USERNAME\"),\n\t\t\tPassword: os.Getenv(\"TESLA_PASSWORD\"),\n\t\t})\n\tif err != nil {\n\t\tpanic(err)\n\t}\n\n\tvehicles, err := client.Vehicles()\n\tif err != nil {\n\t\tpanic(err)\n\t}\n\n\tvehicle := vehicles[0]\n\tstatus, err := vehicle.MobileEnabled()\n\tif err != nil {\n\t\tpanic(err)\n\t}\n\n\tfmt.Println(status)\n\tfmt.Println(vehicle.HonkHorn())\n\n\t// Autopark\n\t// Use with care, as this will move your car\n\tvehicle.AutoparkForward()\n\tvehicle.AutoparkReverse()\n\t// Use with care, as this will move your car\n\n\t// Stream vehicle events\n\teventChan, errChan, err := vehicle.Stream()\n\tif err != nil {\n\t\tfmt.Println(err)\n\t\treturn\n\t} else {\n\t\tfor {\n\t\t\tselect {\n\t\t\tcase event := \u003c-eventChan:\n\t\t\t\teventJSON, _ := json.Marshal(event)\n\t\t\t\tfmt.Println(string(eventJSON))\n\t\t\tcase err = \u003c-errChan:\n\t\t\t\tfmt.Println(err)\n\t\t\t\tif err.Error() == \"HTTP stream closed\" {\n\t\t\t\t\tfmt.Println(\"Reconnecting!\")\n\t\t\t\t\teventChan, errChan, err := vehicle.Stream()\n\t\t\t\t\tif err != nil {\n\t\t\t\t\t\tfmt.Println(err)\n\t\t\t\t\t\treturn\n\t\t\t\t\t}\n\t\t\t\t}\n\t\t\t}\n\t\t}\n\t}\n}\n```\n\n## Examples\n\n* [Commanding a Tesla Model S with the Amazon Echo](https://medium.com/@jsgoecke/commanding-a-tesla-model-s-with-the-amazon-echo-a06f975364b8#.xoctd3yni)\n\n## Pull Requests\n\nI appreciate all the pull requests to date, and have merged them when I can. I would kindly ask going forward if you do send a PR, please ensure it has the corresponding unit test, or unit test change, that passes. I have tried to write tests after the fact, but that is not best practice. Thank you!\n\n## Credits\n\nThank you to [Tim Dorr](https://github.com/timdorr) who did the heavy lifting to document the Tesla API and also created the [model-s-api Ruby Gem](https://github.com/timdorr/model-s-api).\n\n## Copyright \u0026 License\n\nCopyright (c) 2016-Present Jason Goecke.
