Give it a try!\n\nLet's use Juju to deploy, configure, and integrate some Kubernetes charms:\n\n\n### Set up\n\nYou will need a cloud and Juju. The quickest way is to use a Multipass VM launched with the `charm-dev` blueprint.\n\n[Install Multipass](https://canonical.com/multipass/docs/install-multipass). On Linux:\n\n```\nsudo snap install multipass\n```\n\nUse Multipass to launch an Ubuntu VM with the `charm-dev` blueprint:\n\n```\nmultipass launch --cpus 4 --memory 8G --disk 50G --name tutorial-vm charm-dev\n```\n\nOpen a shell into the VM:\n\n```\nmultipass shell tutorial-vm\n```\n\nVerify that you have Juju and two localhost clouds:\n\n```\njuju clouds\n```\n\nBootstrap a Juju controller into the MicroK8s cloud:\n\n```\njuju bootstrap microk8s tutorial-controller\n```\n\nAdd a workspace, or 'model':\n\n```\njuju add-model tutorial-model\n```\n\n### Deploy, configure, and integrate a few things\n\nDeploy Mattermost:\n\n```\njuju deploy mattermost-k8s\n```\n\u003e See more: [Charmhub | `mattermost-k8s`](https://charmhub.io/mattermost-k8s)\n\nDeploy PostgreSQL:\n\n```\njuju deploy postgresql-k8s --channel 14/stable --trust\n```\n\n\u003e See more: [Charmhub | `postgresql-k8s`](https://charmhub.io/postgresql-k8s)\n\nEnable security in your PostgreSQL deployment:\n\n```\njuju deploy tls-certificates-operator\njuju config tls-certificates-operator generate-self-signed-certificates=\"true\" ca-common-name=\"Test CA\"\njuju integrate postgresql-k8s tls-certificates-operator\n```\n\nIntegrate Mattermost with PostgreSQL:\n\n```\njuju integrate mattermost-k8s postgresql-k8s:db\n```\n\nWatch your deployment come to life:\n\n```\njuju status --watch 1s\n```\n\n(Press `Ctrl-C` to quit. Drop the `--watch 1s` flag to get the status statically. Use the `--relations` flag to view more information about your integrations.)\n\n### Test your deployment\n\nWhen everything is in `active` or `idle` status, note the IP address and port of Mattermost and pass them to `curl`:\n\n```\ncurl \u003cIP address\u003e:\u003cport\u003e/api/v4/system/ping\n```\n\nYou should see the output below:\n\n```\n{\"AndroidLatestVersion\":\"\",\"AndroidMinVersion\":\"\",\"IosLatestVersion\":\"\",\"IosMinVersion\":\"\",\"status\":\"OK\"}\n```\n### Congratulations!\n\nYou now have a Kubernetes deployment consisting of a Mattermost backed by PosgreSQL with TLS-encrypted traffic!\n\n### Clean up\n\nDelete your Multipass VM:\n\n```\nmultipass delete --purge tutorial-vm\n```\n\n[Uninstall Multipass](https://canonical.com/multipass/docs/install-multipass).
