The incoming data is parsed and stored/processed for use by\nthe front-end built in Electron.\n\nInstalling pre-requisites\n=========================\n\nAfter you have a working Go installation on your machine, install the\nZMQ Go library, and msgpack library by running:\n\n```\ngo get github.com/vaughan0/go-zmq\ngo get github.com/ugorji/go/codec\n```\n\nRunning the GC test\n===================\n\n\nIn the Rbkit repo, run the `experiments/using_rbkit.rb` daemon. This\nruns a sample script and has the rbkit server started.\n\n\nClone this repo, run `go run examples/trigger_gc.go` to repeatedly\ntrigger the GC in the running ruby script.\n\n\nTo visualize if the GC is getting triggered or not, add a `puts\nGC.stat(:count)` in the `using_rbkit.rb` file.\n\n\nRunning the `using_rbkit.rb` clone\n==================================\n\nTo run the clone of `using_rbkit.rb` which will log all the event\nmessges received from the server to the file `/tmp/rbkit_go.log`, run\nthe following command:\n\n`go run examples/event_logger.go`\n\n\nRunning the command test\n========================\n\nTo run command test, run the following command:\n\n`go run examples/commander/commander.go`\n\nThis will open a prompt on the terminal to that of the\n`rbkit_command_test.rb` on the Rbkit repo.
