Effectively countering this epidemic (or proliferating it, if you're that kind of person) requires close cooperation between players.\n\nThe **ZDMMXIV** helps these players with their efforts, by collating relevant zombie data from the [NationStates API]. This information is displayed on a web page which is updated in real time.\n\n\nDependencies\n------------\n\n* A web server with shell access\n\n* Python 3.4 or newer\n    - Older versions of Python 3 may work, but they haven't been tested\n    - Python 2 will definitely *not* work\n\n\nInstallation\n------------\n\nUnpack this repository into your web space:\n\n    cd /var/www\n    git clone https://github.com/lfairy/zombie-directory-mmxiv.git\n    cd zombie-directory-mmxiv\n\nAdjust options:\n\n    vi options.py\n\nThen run the script:\n\n    ./zombies.py\n\nThe script should begin collecting data. Keep it running in the background.\n\nNow load `index.html` in your favorite web browser. You should see your region's nations listed on the page.\n\n\nFAQ\n---\n\n### Doesn't this break the rules?\n\nNo, this script is legal because it collects information only.\n\n\n### I'm getting a \"too many requests\" error!\n\nAPI requests are rate limited by IP address.\n\nIf you're running two or more instances of the script simultaneously, then they will go over this limit.
