People use them as **interview prep**, **company training**, **university coursework**, **practice problems**, a **speed contest**, or to challenge each other.\n\nYou don't need a computer science background to participate - just a little programming knowledge and some **problem solving skills** will get you pretty far. Nor do you need a fancy computer; every problem has a solution that completes in at most 15 seconds on ten-year-old hardware.\n\nIf you'd like to support Advent of Code, you can do so indirectly by helping to [Share on Twitter Mastodon] it with others, or directly via PayPal or Coinbase.\n\n[**Advent of Code 2023**](https://adventofcode.com/2023)\n\nFor each day, you can run/build part ONE and part TWO, like this :\n```bash\ncargo r --bin part1\ncargo r --bin part2\n```\n\nYou can also proceed to test on each project (day) directory :\n```bash\ncargo t\n```\n\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Flaugharne%2Fadvent_of_code_2023","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Flaugharne%2Fadvent_of_code_2023","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Flaugharne%2Fadvent_of_code_2023/lists"}
