PyCryptodome\n----------------\n\n* **Self-contained.** No runtime dependencies and no system libraries:\n  all the C code ships with the package, so there is nothing else to install,\n  patch, or keep in sync. Building from source only needs a C compiler.\n  Binary wheels are available for Linux, macOS and Windows, on x86 and ARM,\n  for CPython and PyPy.\n* **Broad.** Mainstream and specialized algorithms behind one consistent API,\n  including many that are hard to find elsewhere in Python: SIV and OCB modes,\n  AES key wrap (KW, KWP), HPKE, KMAC, TupleHash, TurboSHAKE, KangarooTwelve,\n  Ed448 and X448, and Shamir's secret sharing.\n* **Easy to use correctly.** Authenticated encryption and verification are a\n  single call, nonces and IVs are generated for you, randomness comes straight\n  from the operating system, and keys are imported and exported in the\n  standard formats (PEM, DER, PKCS#8, OpenSSH).\n* **Side-channel aware.** The big integer arithmetic on private keys runs in\n  constant time, in C.
