Its small dimensions and its low power consumption allow for the implementation in battery-powered devices such as mobile phones, GPS modules or watches. The BMP280 is based on Bosch’s proven piezo-resistive pressure sensor technology featuring high accuracy and linearity as well as long-term stability and high EMC robustness. Numerous device operation options guarantee for highest flexibility. The device is optimized in terms of power consumption, resolution and filter performance.\n\nLibDriver BMP280 is a full function driver of BMP280 launched by LibDriver. It provides continuous reading of pressure and temperature, single reading of pressure and temperature and other functions. LibDriver is MISRA compliant.\n\n### Table of Contents\n\n - [Instruction](#Instruction)\n - [Install](#Install)\n - [Usage](#Usage)\n - [example basic](#example-basic)\n - [example shot](#example-shot)\n - [Document](#Document)\n - [Contributing](#Contributing)\n - [License](#License)\n - [Contact Us](#Contact-Us)\n\n### Instruction\n\n/src includes LibDriver BMP280 source files.\n\n/interface includes LibDriver BMP280 IIC, SPI platform independent template.\n\n/test includes LibDriver BMP280 driver test code and this code can test the chip necessary function simply.\n\n/example includes LibDriver BMP280 sample code.\n\n/doc includes LibDriver BMP280 offline document.\n\n/datasheet includes BMP280 datasheet.\n\n/project includes the common Linux and MCU development board sample code. All projects use the shell script to debug the driver and the detail instruction can be found in each project's README.md.\n\n/misra includes the LibDriver MISRA code scanning results.\n\n### Install\n\nReference /interface IIC, SPI platform independent template and finish your platform IIC, SPI driver.\n\nAdd the /src directory, the interface driver for your platform, and your own drivers to your project, if you want to use the default example drivers, add the /example directory to your project.\n\n### Usage\n\nYou can refer to the examples in the /example directory to complete your own driver. If you want to use the default programming examples, here's how to use them.\n\n#### example basic\n\n```C\n#include \"driver_bmp280_basic.h\"\n\nuint8_t res;\nuint32_t i;\nfloat temperature_c;\nfloat pressure_pa;\n\n/* basic init */\nres = bmp280_basic_init(BMP280_INTERFACE_IIC, BMP280_ADDRESS_ADO_LOW);\nif (res != 0)\n{\n return 1;\n}\n\n...\n \n/* loop */\nfor (i = 0; i \u003c 3; i++)\n{\n /* delay 1000ms */\n bmp280_interface_delay_ms(1000);\n\n /* read data */\n res = bmp280_basic_read((float *)\u0026temperature_c, (float *)\u0026pressure_pa);\n if (res != 0)\n {\n (void)bmp280_basic_deinit();\n\n return 1;\n }\n\n /* output */\n bmp280_interface_debug_print(\"bmp280: %d/%d.\\n\", i + 1, 3);\n bmp280_interface_debug_print(\"bmp280: temperature is %0.2fC.\\n\", temperature_c);\n bmp280_interface_debug_print(\"bmp280: pressure is %0.2fPa.\\n\", pressure_pa);\n \n ...\n}\n\n...\n \n/* deinit */\n(void)bmp280_basic_deinit();\n\nreturn 0;\n```\n\n#### example shot\n\n```C\n#include \"driver_bmp280_shot.h\"\n\nuint8_t res;\nuint32_t i;\nfloat temperature_c;\nfloat pressure_pa;\n\n/* shot init */\nres = bmp280_shot_init(BMP280_INTERFACE_IIC, BMP280_ADDRESS_ADO_LOW);\nif (res != 0)\n{\n return 1;\n}\n\n...\n \n/* loop */\nfor (i = 0; i \u003c 3; i++)\n{\n /* delay 1000ms */\n bmp280_interface_delay_ms(1000);\n\n /* read data */\n res = bmp280_shot_read((float *)\u0026temperature_c, (float *)\u0026pressure_pa);\n if (res != 0)\n {\n (void)bmp280_shot_deinit();\n\n return 1;\n }\n\n /* output */\n bmp280_interface_debug_print(\"bmp280: %d/%d.\\n\", i + 1, 3);\n bmp280_interface_debug_print(\"bmp280: temperature is %0.2fC.\\n\", temperature_c);\n bmp280_interface_debug_print(\"bmp280: pressure is %0.2fPa.\\n\", pressure_pa);\n \n ...\n}\n\n...\n \n/* deinit */\n(void)bmp280_shot_deinit();\n\nreturn 0;\n```\n\n### Document\n\nOnline documents: [https://www.libdriver.com/docs/bmp280/index.html](https://www.libdriver.com/docs/bmp280/index.html).\n\nOffline documents: /doc/html/index.html.\n\n### Contributing\n\nPlease refer to CONTRIBUTING.md.\n\n### License\n\nCopyright (c) 2015 - present LibDriver All rights reserved\n\n\n\nThe MIT License (MIT) \n\n\n\nPermission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy\n\nof this software and associated documentation files (the \"Software\"), to deal\n\nin the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights\n\nto use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell\n\ncopies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is\n\nfurnished to do so, subject to the following conditions: \n\n\n\nThe above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all\n\ncopies or substantial portions of the Software. \n\n\n\nTHE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED \"AS IS\", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR\n\nIMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,\n\nFITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
