Three address pins A0, A1 and A2 are used for programming the hardware address, allowing the use of up to eight devices connected to the I2C-bus without additional hardware. Address, control and data to and from the device are transferred serially via the two-line bidirectional I2C-bus. The functions of the device include analog input multiplexing, on-chip track and hold function, 8-bit analog-to-digital conversion and an 8-bit digital-to-analog conversion. The maximum conversion rate is given by the maximum speed of the I2C-bus.PCF8591 is used in closed-loop control system, low-power converter for remote data acquisition, battery powered equipment and analog acquisition in automotive audio TV applications.\n\nLibDriver PCF8591 is a full function driver of PCF8591 launched by LibDriver. It provides AD reading, DA output, AD continuous reading and other functions. LibDriver complies with MISRA.\n\n### Table of Contents\n\n - [Instruction](#Instruction)\n - [Install](#Install)\n - [Usage](#Usage)\n - [example basic](#example-basic)\n - [example increment](#example-increment)\n - [Document](#Document)\n - [Contributing](#Contributing)\n - [License](#License)\n - [Contact Us](#Contact-Us)\n\n### Instruction\n\n/src includes LibDriver PCF8591 source files.\n\n/interface includes LibDriver PCF8591 IIC platform independent template.\n\n/test includes LibDriver PCF8591 driver test code and this code can test the chip necessary function simply.\n\n/example includes LibDriver PCF8591 sample code.\n\n/doc includes LibDriver PCF8591 offline document.\n\n/datasheet includes PCF8591 datasheet.\n\n/project includes the common Linux and MCU development board sample code.
