club!\nIntenseRP Next v2 drives the official web apps (like DeepSeek, Z.AI, Moonshot, QwenLM) in a real browser, and re-exposes them as an OpenAI-compatible endpoint.\n\nUnlike the official API, this is usually free (DeepSeek / GLM / Kimi are free to use with limits, and paid plans aren't added yet) and it gives you access to the full web UI experience (including reasoning toggles, search, file uploads, and more). Not without tradeoffs, of course - see below.\n  \n## Start here! 🎁\n\n1. Download a release (see [Releases](https://github.com/LyubomirT/intense-rp-next/releases)) and run it (or run from source)\n2. Click **Start** and log in when the browser opens\n3. Point your SillyTavern client at `http://127.0.0.1:7777/v1` (default) and pick `deepseek-*` / `glm-*` / `moonshot-*` / `qwen-*` mode IDs\n\nAnd it's done! It should Just Work™️.\n\n## What is this?\n\nIntenseRP Next v2 (sometimes shortened to \"IRP Next v2\") is a local bridge between:\n\n- an OpenAI-style client (like SillyTavern), and\n- a provider web app (currently: DeepSeek, GLM Chat, Moonshot, QwenLM)\n\nUnder the hood it:\n\n1. Starts a local FastAPI server (OpenAI-compatible routes under `/v1`)\n2. Launches a real Chromium session (Patchright/Playwright)\n3. Logs in (manual or auto-login)\n4. Intercepts the provider's streaming network responses\n5. Re-emits them as OpenAI-style SSE deltas for your client\n\nIn normal human terms: free acces to LLMs via their official web apps but turned into an API you can use in SillyTavern and other OpenAI-compatible clients.\n\nOf course, there are also official paid APIs, but not everyone can pay for them, so this is kind of a free alternative. 🙂\n\n## Should you use it? 🎯\n\nIf you read this far, you probably have a use case in mind! But here's the objective truth:\n\nIt would work well for you if you:\n\n- want free-ish access to provider web models via the official web apps\n- prefer a clicky desktop app over a pile of scripts\n- are OK with the occasional wait or hiccup (web apps change)\n\nNot the best fit if you:\n\n- need high throughput / parallel requests without using the experimental parallel modes\n- want to run headless on a server\n- want something that never breaks (that's perhaps the biggest caveat)\n\n\u003e [!NOTE]\n\u003e 1. Provider web apps change. When they do, a driver can break until it's updated.\n\u003e 2. By default, IntenseRP processes **one request at a time** (requests are queued). This is on purpose for a single live browser session.\n\u003e 3. For providers that support actual model selection in their web UI (like GLM and Google AI Studio), the mode will still apply its behavior changes, but the model will be whatever you have selected in settings within the app.\n\nIf you change the port in Settings, update the endpoint to match (example: `http://127.0.0.1:YOUR_PORT/v1`).\n\n\u003e [!TIP]\n\u003e If you don't want to use different provider names for model selection, enable **Universal Model Names** in Settings. This replaces all provider names with `intenserp`, so the above would become `intenserp-auto`, `intenserp-chat`, and `intenserp-reasoner`. With the exception of DeepSeek's Expert Mode presets, which would become `intenserp-expert-auto`, `intenserp-expert-chat`, and `intenserp-expert-reasoner`.\n\n\n## Quick troubleshooting 🧯\n\n- **Browser takes forever on first run**: it may be downloading/verifying Chromium. Let it cook, then try again.\n- **Client cannot connect**: confirm the app says **Running**, and the endpoint matches your port (`http://127.0.0.1:7777/v1` by default).\n- **401 Unauthorized**: you probably enabled API keys in Settings. Either disable them or add a key in your client.\n- **Login loops / stuck sign-in**: try disabling Persistent Sessions, or clear the profile in Settings (it wipes saved cookies).\n- **Slow responses**: requests are queued by default, and DeepThink can add extra time. Experimental parallel modes can help, but they are much heavier.\n\nTip: enable the console and/or logfiles before reporting issues. Logs help a lot when diagnosing!\n\n\u003c/details\u003e\n\n## What you get ✨\n\nThere are a few highlights I think are worth calling out.
