Django React Boilerplate\nThe Django-React Boilerplate is a starting point for building web applications that combine the Django backend framework with a React frontend where React app is being served by Django\n\nThis project was generated using [vite](https://vitejs.dev/)\n\n## Requirements\n- Python 3.7+\n- Node.js (version 12 or higher)\n- npm (Node Package Manager) or Yarn\n\n## Installation\n\n### Backend\n- Clone the repository and navigate to the project directory\n  ```\n  git clone https://github.com/madhvi-n/django-react-boilerplate.git\n  cd django-react-boilerplate\n  ```\n\n- Create an environment and activate it\n  ```\n  virtualenv venv --python=python3\n  source venv/bin/activate\n  ```\n\n- Install Python dependencies\n  ```\n  pip install -r requirements.txt\n  ```\n\n- Run database migrations and start the development server\n  ```\n  python manage.py migrate\n  python manage.py runserver\n  ```\n\n### Frontend\n- Navigate to the `static/frontend` directory:\n  ```\n  cd static/frontend/todo-app\n  ```\n\n- Install frontend dependencies\n  ```\n  npm install\n  ```\n  or\n  ```\n  yarn install\n  ```\n\n- Build the react app\n  ```\n  npm run build\n  ```\n  or\n  ```\n  yarn build\n  ```\n\n- Open your browser and visit `http://localhost:8000` to see the application.\n\n### Project Structure\n- The Django backend code is located in the root directory.\n- The React frontend code is located in the `static/frontend` directory.\n\n\n### Configuration\n- Django settings can be found in the settings.py file.\n- React configuration can be found in the static/frontend/todo-app/package.json
