If you wish\n  to use other drivers or cross compile, check build-dpf-lcd4linux.sh\n  for configure options\n\n* Note: For lcd4linux, you may want to have some development libraries\n  installed, for example:\n    libgd2-noxpm-dev  -- to display images\n\n* Build the stuff using \"make all\". You need an internet connection. because \n  lcd4linux is pulled from their server.\n\n* Try it:\n  \u003e cd lcd4linux; lcd4linux -f ../dpf.conf -F\n\nNOTE: The orientation for the Pearl type display was changed (Details, see\nChangelog) DO NOT INSTALL if you wish to keep your landscape orientation.\nLater, we'll make this configureable, if there turns out to be a good\nsolution (there currently isn't).\n\n\nThe source for this firmware is not yet included. Please don't ask\nquestions when it will be released, it will happen, once we have a fully\nfool proof and working firmware including boot loader support (if you can\nhelp there, let us know).\n\nAlso note: NO SUPPORT! NO WARRANTY! FRIENDS DON'T MAKE FRIENDS HACK THEIR\nDPF! LET ALONE NON-FRIENDS! (Bottomline: Don't ask me if I can hack your DPF).\n\nIf you wish to hack your DPF, please check the sites listed below.\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------\nTroubleshooting\n\nIf the lcd4linux build process fails, you may want to start over without\nrunning the entire build procedure.\nSee build-dpf-lcd4linux.sh for the single steps. Right, this could also\nbe in a makefile to be more fool proof..\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------\nFeatures\n\nFor features of this firmware, see Changelog\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------\nFind updates and documentation here:\n\nhttp://tech.section5.ch/news/?p=68\n\nor here:\n\nhttp://picframe.spritesserver.nl/wiki/index.php/DPF_with_AppoTech_AX206\n\nFor our german users, a very good explanation is found here:\n\nhttp://geekparadise.de/2011/04/digitaler-bilderrahmen-von-pearl-als-statusdisplay-fur-dockstar/\n\n(c) 4/2011, hackfin\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmakefu%2Fdpfhack_pearl","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fmakefu%2Fdpfhack_pearl","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmakefu%2Fdpfhack_pearl/lists"}
