ClassicTheme\nDownload the [Classic Theme](https://github.com/malvinas2/ClassicThemeForWindows10/releases/) and extract its content to an arbitrary directory. \n\n\n### 2. OldNewExplorer\nDownload and install [OldNewExplorer](https://msfn.org/board/topic/170375-oldnewexplorer-119/), use the settings shown below.  \n\u003cimg src=\"https://github.com/malvinas2/ClassicThemeForWindows10/blob/master/_settings/OldNewExplorer_settings.png\" width=30% height=30%\u003e\n\n\n### 3. UltraUXThemePatcher\nUltraUXThemePatcher modifies your system files so that 3. party themes can be used.  \nDownload and install [UltraUXThemePatcher](http://www.syssel.net/hoefs/software_uxtheme.php?lang=en) and restart your computer.  \nNo further configuration is necessaary. \n\n\n### 6. ClassicTheme\nCopy the content of the subfolder corresponding to your Windows version to `C:\\Windows\\Resources\\Themes`.  \nE.g. save the content of `/ClassicTheme/Theme For Win10 Fall Creators Update 1709/Show Commandbar` into `C:\\Windows\\Resources\\Themes`.\n\n\n### 7. Windows settings\n- Go into `All Settings \u003e Personalization \u003e Colors`. \n- Under `Choose your default Windows mode`, select `Light`.\n- \u003cins\u003eUn\u003c/ins\u003echeck `Automatically pick an accent color from my background`. \n- Under `Show accent color on the following surfaces`, \u003cins\u003eun\u003c/ins\u003eselect the `Start, taskbar, and action center`, and `Title bars and window borders` check boxes.\n- Go into `All Settings \u003e Personalization \u003e Themes` and select the classic theme you want. \n\n\n### 8. Thin Borders\nRun the REG file within the `_Thin Borders` subfolder of your ClassicTheme direcory.  \nIt'll ask for confirmation, accept it.
