If you're at this point, I'll assume you also have `jupyter lab` and/or  `jupyter notebook` installed.\n\nTo get the appropriate packages to run this notebook started, please first install a new conda environment through the configuration YAML in the repository. Use the following command while in the repository directory:\n\n$$ \\sum a^2 $$\n\n```\nconda env create -f environment.yml\n```\n\nThis will install the following dependancies into your a new conda environment called `solar-sail-sim`:\n\n- numpy\n- ipykernel\n- matplotlib\n- scipy\n- spiceypy\n\nTo create a Python kernel for Jupyter to get access to, run the following command:\n\n```\nipython kernel install --user --name=solar-sail-sim\n```\n\nNow you're all set!\n\n## Contribution Guidelines\n\nMake sure to commit regularly, and please make sure to **export a new YAML configuration file if you install new packages** to the python environment.\n\nTo install new python packages to the environment, please use use the following:\n\n```\nconda install -n solar-sail-sim \u003cPACKAGE NAME\u003e\n```\n\nTo update the YAML configuration file, use the following while in the repository directory AND in the correct conda environment:\n\n```\nconda env export \u003e solar-sail-sim.yml\n```\n## Student Contributers\n**Spring 2024 (v0.1)** Marvin Lin, Andrew Ji, Shazaib Lalani, Matthew Cranny, Luke Harris\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmarvinlinn%2Fsolar-sail-simulations","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fmarvinlinn%2Fsolar-sail-simulations","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmarvinlinn%2Fsolar-sail-simulations/lists"}
