It can split FIRRTL into modules, and then compile all the modules incrementally.\n\nFor building and using Frenda, you can run the following command lines:\n\n```sh\n# build Frenda\nsbt assembly\n# show help messages\nutils/bin/frenda --help\n# compile FIRRTL into Verilog files\nutils/bin/frenda -i input.fir -td output_dir\n```\n\n## Pros and Cons\n\nFrenda can effectively reduce the compilation time of FIRRTL. but at the cost that Frenda cannot do cross-module optimization for the input circuit, such as global DCE.\n\n## Changelog\n\nSee [CHANGELOG.md](CHANGELOG.md).\n\n## Copyright and License\n\nCopyright (C) 2010-2021 MaxXing.
