Requirements\n\n- Python\n  - Python 2 \u003e= 2.7\n  - Python 3 \u003e= 3.4\n\n## Getting Started\n\n### Prerequisites\n\n#### (Optional) Use faster HTML parser than pure Python\n\nInstallation of email2slack requires `gcc` and the development packages of both\n`libxml2` and `libxslt`. On RedHat based systems you can install these using\n`sudo yum install gcc libxml2-devel libxslt-devel`. On Ubuntu systems you can\ninstall using `sudo apt-get install build-essential libxml2-dev libxslt-dev`.\nIf you are using some other system there are probably similar packages available.\n\n#### (Optional) Use nkf to convert character encoding for non Unicode message\n \nnkf binding module (https://pypi.org/project/nkf/) also requires `gcc` and\n`Python development headers` to build C extension. On RedHat based systems you\ncan install these using `sudo yum install gcc python-devel`.
