Get the Botany perk\n2. On a planet, scan a plant to 100%.\n3. Build an outpost on the same planet.\n4. Build the Greenhouse (in the Extractors tab)\n5. Connect required resources to the greenhouse (for ex. Water)\n\n\u003e The existing Hydroponics Hab module is cosmetic only.\n\u003e It serves no specific function. \n\n### Selling and buying\n\nThe following is a spreadsheet with all known shops and the type of \nwares they sell, to quickly find places to sell and buy things.\n\n[Shops and wares Spreadsheet][]\n\n#### Selling ships\n\nTook me a while to find: Go to a spaceport technician and ask him\nto show you the ships he has to sell. In this view, there is a key\nto switch into sell mode, like in other shops.\n\n#### Selling Contraband\n\nThis is best in systems where there is no police. There are two\ngood locations for this:\n\n- _The Den_ (Station, Wolf System)  \n  In the Trade Authority shop\n- _The Key_ (Station, Kryx System)  \n  Several shops available, but only during the Crimson Fleet mission arc\n\n## Modding (Vortex)\n\n### Folder Junction: Juggling with data folders\n\nStarfield loads data (and by extension, mods) from both the game installation folder and the `Documents/My Games/Starfield` folders. \n\nBecause the game seems to prefer the My Games location to the game folder, **textures in particular will not be loaded** if installed into the game folder.\n\nVortex handles this with the \"Folder Junction\" feature, found under Settings \u003e Mods \u003e Starfield settings. If you enable this, the My Games data folder will be replaced with a link to the game folder, forcing Starfield to load everything from there.\n\n### Repairing a Folder Junction \n\nIn my case, for some reason the link in the My Games data folder got broken: It is possible a game update overwrote the link.\n\nTo solve the issue, I reset the folder link by doing the following:\n\n1. Turn off the Folder Junction setting in Vortex.\n2. If Vortex complains that it failed to turn it off, delete the `My Games\\Starfield\\data` folder manually.\n3. Enable the Folder Junction setting again.\n\n## Useful Console Commands\n\n### Increase max ships in fleet\n\nIncrease the maximum number of ships in your fleet:\n\n``` \nSetGS uSpaceshipMaximumOwnedSpaceships 50\n```\n\n\u003e This must be repeated in every game session.\n\n### Add perk points\n\nThis will add `4` perk points:\n\n```\nCGF \"Game.AddPerkPoints\" 4\n```\n\n### Add a perk\n\nThis will add a level of the _Gymnastics_ perk:\n\n```\nplayer.addperk 28AE29\n```\n\nSee the [list of perk item codes](item-codes/skills.md).\n\n### Increase carry weight\n\nThis increases the carry weight permanently:\n\n```\nplayer.modav carryweight 9000\n```\n\n### Increase walk speed\n\nIncrease walking and running speed permanently (in percent):\n\n```\nplayer.modav speedmult 200\n```\n\n### Skip to the unity\n\nWhen starting a NG+ game (New Game Plus), it's possible that the universe\nwill not fit what you want. In my case, there were no constellation members,\nbut I wanted to have them all with me. With the following command, you can\nskip directly to the unity:\n\n```\ncoc MQUnity\n```\n\n### Unlock every power (maxed out)\n\nThis command will unlock all available powers at the maximum level:\n\n```\npsb\n```\n\n### Give an item\n\nThis adds 20 med packs:\n\n```\nplayer.additem ABF9 20\n```\n\n\u003e The zeros at the beginning of the code can be omitted.\n\u003e They are also case-insensitive.\n\n#### Item codes\n\nA selection of the most useful item codes:\n\n- Money `F`\n- Digipicks `A`\n\n- [Aid](item-codes/aid.md)\n- [Ammo](item-codes/ammo.md)\n- [Extractable resources](item-codes/extractable-resources.md)\n- [Crafting materials](item-codes/materials.md)\n\n## Resources\n\n- [How to use batch files][]\n\n[How to use batch files]: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3035637950\n[StarUI - Ship Builder]: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6402\n[Remove Reactor Class Requirement]: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1482\n[Shops and wares spreadsheet]: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/126SnzkduhmUHLUkY5SXfRyF6x9AmrTtTbe5SPMTeEtY/edit?usp=sharing\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmistralys%2Fstarfield-game-notes","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fmistralys%2Fstarfield-game-notes","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmistralys%2Fstarfield-game-notes/lists"}
