Type Ia supernovae are rare in most galaxies. This makes them ideal for project's measurements.

## My project goal

This project was my graduate data analysis class project at University of Minnesota and and my purpose was to apply what I have learned and reproduce the results of the official collaboration paper [1].

The link to my analysis report can be found [here](https://melashri.net/Notebooks/SuperNova.html)

[1] Perlmutter, S., “Measurements of Ω and Λ from 42 High-Redshift Supernovae”, The Astrophysical Journal, vol. 517, no. 2, pp. 565–586, 1999. doi:10.1086/307221.

https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmohamedelashri%2Frevisiting-supernova-project-data
https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fmohamedelashri%2Frevisiting-supernova-project-data
https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fmohamedelashri%2Frevisiting-supernova-project-data/lists"}
