It leverages the Free-Tier of Google Firebase to provide a real time connection between scout and drive teams, while providing an easy-to-deploy database so that any team can run their own. Download and install \u003ca target=\"blank\" href=\"https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html\"\u003eAndroid Studio\u003c/a\u003e\n2. Clone repository.\n3. Open the root of the repository in Android Studio.\n\n###Firebase\n1. Create a Google Account.\n2. Visit your \u003ca target=\"blank\" href=\"https://console.firebase.google.com/?pli=1\"\u003eFirebase Console\u003c/a\u003e.\n3. Create a new project and call it whatever you would like.\n4. Click on \"Add Firebase to your Android app\"\n5. Use **Package Name** `xyz.syzygylabs.openscout` and follow \u003ca target=\"blank\" href=\"https://developers.google.com/android/guides/client-auth\"\u003ethis\u003c/a\u003e to get the debug certificate.\n6. Copy `google-services.json` to `/app/`. You do **not** need to add the dependencies to the `build.gradle`. Hit finish to close the dialogue.\n7. Navigate the *Authentication* tab in the console.\n8. Under *SIGN-IN METHOD* enable `Email/Password` and `Google`. *By default, the Firebase will require a user to be authenticated to read and write to the database.*\n9.
