YAML shopping lists into different formats.\n\nAbout\n------\n\nfoodlist converts simple yaml shopping lists into different formats. This can\nbe done in order to get a better layout or make them importable for other\napplications. Originally I built this to be able to write simple grocery lists\non my computer and import them into\nGroceries.app_, a wonderful iPhone application for shopping lists.\n\nI tried to built it as abstract as possible, so that new formats could be added\neasily.\n\nDependencies\n-------------\npyyaml for input parsing and pystache for filling the output template. If\npystache is not available or no template was given, the context object is\nsimply printed onto the screen.::\n\n    pip install pyyaml\n    pip install pystache\n\nInstallation\n-------------\nThe package itself can be installed via PyPi::\n\n    pip install foodlist\n\nOr if you must::\n\n    easy_install foodlist\n\nThis also installs the example data (template and base data) into\nthe data folder in site-packages.\n\nUsage\n------\nCreate a yaml list like this::\n\n    aisle:\n    - food\n    - more food\n    produce:\n    - tomatoes\n    - spinache\n\nThe executable can be given optional paths for base data needed to convert the\nlist and a mustache template for output generation.\n\nYou can also put your files in the default search location::\n\n    ~/.foodlist/groceries.json\n    ~/.foodlist/groceries.mustache\n\nSimple execution with groceries.app format and the default\nbase_data/template::\n\n    export_foodlist.py list.yaml\n\nTemplate and base data paths given explicitly::\n\n    export_foodlist.py -b groceries.json -t groceries.mustache list.yaml\n\nAdditionally it is possible to pass a name and the format::\n\n    export_foodlist.py -n \"My awesome list\" -f \"groceries.app\" list.yaml\n\nExpansion\n----------\nAdding new formats is rather easy.
