Simpledimple.js ##\n\n[Simpledimple.js](http://nagarajanchinnasamy.com/simpledimple) is an opensource lightweight JavaScript wrapper and extension API for [dimple](http://dimplejs.org/). It\n\n    * Separates the configuration of properties of charts from JavaScript code\n    * Facilitates externalization of the parameters of a chart thus opening the possibilities of:\n        * Interactive tools based designing of charts\n        * External storage and\n        * Exchange of charts\n    * Extends dimple library to make externalized chart configuration more self contained    \n\nThis wrapper API accepts the entire configuration of a chart (E.g., parameters of axis, series etc.) as a single JavaScript object and internally handles the calls to be made to [dimple](http://dimplejs.org/). You can use the [fiddle tool](http://nagarajanchinnasamy.com/simpledimple/fiddle/index.html) to:\n\n    * Load sample or your own data\n    * Browse and load sample chart configuration and edit\n    * Verify and create your own charts\n\n## Documentation?\n\n[Please refer to the Wiki for documentation](https://github.com/nagarajanchinnasamy/simpledimple/wiki).\n\n## How do I load the code?\n\nSimpledimple.js implements the [Universal Module Definition (UMD)](https://github.com/umdjs/umd) pattern and so should be compatible with most approaches to script loading and dependency management: direct script loading with [RequireJS](http://requirejs.org/), [Browserify](http://browserify.org/) etc. For these options, you can grab it from [NPM](https://www.npmjs.com/package/simpledimple) with `npm install simpledimple` or via [Bower](http://bower.io/) with `bower install simpledimple`.\n\nIf you are loading the scripts directly (as in the [examples](http://nagarajanchinnasamy.com/simpledimple)), you need to:\n\n1. Load the dependencies:\n  1. d3  - `\u003cscript src=\"https://d3js.org/d3.v3.min.js\"\u003e\u003c/script\u003e`\n  2. dimple - `\u003cscript src=\"http://dimplejs.org/dist/dimple.v2.2.0.min.js\"\u003e\u003c/script\u003e`\n2. Load the simpledimple.js files:\n  1. `simpledimple.min.js`\n\nHere is the source code of an [exmaple](https://github.com/nagarajanchinnasamy/simpledimple/blob/master/examples/area_steps_horizontal.html)\n\n## How can I build the code and run the tests?\n\nInstall grunt and bower using:\n\n    npm install -g grunt\n    npm install -g bower\n\nTo install the development dependencies, just run:\n\n    npm install\n    bower install\n\nwhich will create `node_modules` and `bower_components` folders with the files required to run the [Grunt](http://gruntjs.com/) build system.\n\nAfter modifying any of the `.js` files at the top of the repo, you can compile/minify the files into the `dist` directory by running\n\n    grunt\n\nThis also starts a webserver bound to port 3001 that can be used to browse simpledimple home page that has links to **examples** and **fiddle** application.
