The robot employs a **Rocker-Bogie Suspension Mechanism** inspired by NASA's Mars Rovers, enabling it to climb stairs and traverse rugged terrains effectively. It is controlled via Bluetooth and built using economical and readily available components.\n\n## Features\n- Stair-climbing capability using the **Rocker-Bogie mechanism**.\n- Remote control via **Bluetooth**.\n- High maneuverability and mobility.\n- Lightweight, cost-effective design using **MDF sheets**.\n\n## Objectives\n1. Develop a scaled-down version of a remote-controlled rover.\n2. Ensure cost efficiency and ease of assembly.\n3. Provide high mobility and stability.\n4. Enable the robot to carry light weights quickly and effectively.\n\n## Components\n- **Arduino UNO**: Microcontroller unit.\n- **Motor Driver (L298N)**: Controls motor operations.\n- **Bluetooth Module (HC-05)**: Enables wireless control.\n- **BO Motors**: Provide movement and climbing capabilities.\n- **Power Source**: 7.9V DC supply.\n- **MDF Sheets**: Lightweight and rigid body material.\n\n## Design Details\n### Rocker-Bogie Suspension Mechanism\n- Ensures all wheels maintain contact with uneven surfaces.\n- Provides excellent stability and mobility.\n\n### CAD Model\n- Designed based on the model provided by [THESTEMPEDIA](https://thestempedia.com/project/diy-stair-climbing-robot/).\n\n## Working Principle\nThe robot climbs stairs by leveraging the **Rocker-Bogie suspension system**, where:\n1. The front wheels push against the rear wheels to lift the rover.\n2. Subsequent pairs of wheels climb the obstacle in a step-by-step process.\n3. The entire rover stabilizes and continues moving forward.\n\n## Future Enhancements\n- Use of sturdier materials for improved durability.\n- Integration of larger wheels for better obstacle scaling.\n- Upgrading to high-torque motors for enhanced performance.\n- Automation and obstacle-avoidance features using advanced sensors.\n\n## Resources\n- [Arduino UNO Specifications](https://store-usa.arduino.cc/products/arduino-uno-rev3)\n- [Rocker-Bogie Mechanism](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocker-bogie)\n\n## Acknowledgments\nSpecial thanks to **Easwari Engineering College** and all team members for contributing to this project.\n\n---\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fnav3005%2Fhexaligo","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fnav3005%2Fhexaligo","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fnav3005%2Fhexaligo/lists"}
