If running outside of NCAR, you should be able to make minor modifications to this file to suit your needs.\n\nIf your machine does not have the conda package manager installed, see instructions at https://docs.conda.io/en/latest/miniconda.html for installing conda within your user environment.\n\nTo create the environment, assuming conda is available already, clone this repo to your preferred machine for running the notebook, create and then activate the conda environment:\n\n```\n# Create your own copy of the files in this repository\ngit clone https://github.com/NCAR/na-cordex-aws.git\n\n# Change directory into the cloned repo\ncd na-cordex-aws\n\n# Create the conda environment\nconda env create -f environment.yml\n\n# Activate the conda environment\nconda activate aws-na-cordex\n```\n\nNOTE: the conda environment installation may require more than 2GB of disk space.
