The integration is using the \n[Solaredge library](https://pypi.org/project/solaredge/).\n\nNOTE: To forecast the overall solar energy production over a period of time, there must be a minimum of 1 year of \nhistorical data available for each month within that period.\n\n## How to install\n\n1. Make sure you have [hacs](https://hacs.xyz/) installed\n2. In the HACS panel search for 'Solaredge forecast' and click on the orange download button.\n3. Reboot HA\n4. In HA goto Config -\u003e Integrations. Add the Solaredge-Forecast integration to HA.\n5. In your lovelace dashboard, add a card with the Solaredge-Forecast entities.\n\n## Options\n\nThe Solaredge Forecast integration has the following options:\n\n**Site id**\n\nThe ID of the solar installation. You can find the ID at the Solaredge web portal.\nGo to https://monitoring.solaredge.com and login with your Solaredge account. Then go to Admin \u003e\u003e Site access \u003e\u003e API access\n\n**Account key**\n\nThe api key which you can find at the same place as the site ID\n\n**Startday of the forecast period**\n\nDay of the month from which the total energy will be summed.  \n\n**Startmonth of the forecast period**\n\nMonth from which the total energy will be summed. If the startdate is after the current date the\nprevious year is used for the startdate. If the startdate is before the current date the current year will be used.\n\n**Endday of the forecast period**\n\nDay of the month for which the total energy will be predicted.  \n\n**Endmonth of the forecast period**\n\nMonth of the month for which the total energy will be predicted. If the enddate is after the current date the\ncurrent year is used for the enddate.
