KeybaseMutt exists to let its users utilize Keybase within\nNeoMutt. (Unfortunately, not natively (yet).)\n\n## Quick start\n\nRun the install script. It will set up the directory's and paths for you. Do\nwhat it says or suffer the consequences!\n\nThen just throw these into your .muttrc\n\n`set editor = 'echo %s \u003e ~/.neomutt/keybaseMutt/.tmp; vim %s'`\n\n`macro compose K \"\u003center-command\u003eunset wait_key\u003center\u003e\u003cshell-escape\u003epython ~/.neomutt/keybaseMutt/keybase.py\u003center\u003e\u003center-command\u003eset wait_key\u003center\u003e`\n\nDone!\n\n## How to use KeybaseMutt\n\nWrite an email. In the screen right before you send your email (called the pager mode), press \"K\".\n\n![](pagerMode.png)\n(Press 'K' when you're here)\n\nYou can now use four Keybase commands in this \"shell\". (I thought it best to limit the user to four commands for security reasons. Running unusual commands would overwrite the email, forcing the user to rewrite the email again.)\n\nThe commands are:\n- `keybase encrypt [user]`\n- `keybase pgp encrypt [user]`\n- `keybase sign`\n- `keybase pgp sign`\n\n\n## Decrypting and verifying messages\n\nUnfortunately, there isn't an easy way to decrypt or verify messages through a macro. Instead, you'll need to use the pipe feature of neomutt.\n\nOpening the email, you'll need to navigate to the actual attachment. (Press \"V\" when you're reading the email.)\n\n![](attachmentView.png)\n\nThen pipe (\"|\") it through the one of the scripts. (like \"pgpverify.sh\" or \"decrypt.sh\")\n\nPlease note, using an attachment is very important when decrypting emails that include html.
