`inertia.pages`\n\nThe `inertia.pages` setting must be a glob pattern that matches the components\nthat should appear in the auto-completion dialog. This pattern is resolved\nrelative to your workspace's root folder.\n\nThe extension also uses this pattern to determine the root folder of your\ncomponents, which in turn is used to generate the hyperlinks to your page\ncomponents.\n\nHere a some common patterns for different project types:\n\n| Project type    | Pattern                       |\n| --------------- | ----------------------------- |\n| Laravel + Vue   | `resources/js/Pages/**/*.vue` |\n| Laravel + React | `resources/js/Pages/**/*.tsx` |\n\n### `inertia.pathSeparators`\n\nInertia.js commonly uses a forward slash when it comes to component names\nbecause it naturally follows the filesystem structure, but while the components\nwill eventually have to be resolved to a filesystem path, nothing prevents you\nfrom using different path separators inside the inertia methods.\n\n#### Component resolution\n\nThis setting allows you to define a list of path separators that the extension\nshould handle when resolving components paths on click, and during\nautocompletion. This setting only affects how the extension, and you will have\nto change the way component resolution works in your Inertia.js application in\norder to replaces those characters by a forward slash `/`.\n\nHere's an example snippet that handles components paths written with\ndot-notation.\n\n```js\nimport { createApp, h } from 'vue';\nimport { createInertiaApp } from '@inertiajs/vue3';\n\ncreateInertiaApp({\n    resolve: (name) =\u003e {\n        const pages = import.meta.glob('./Pages/**/*.vue', { eager: true });\n        return pages[`./Pages/${name.replaceAll('.', '/')}.vue`];\n    },\n    setup({ el, App, props, plugin }) {\n        createApp({ render: () =\u003e h(App, props) })\n            .use(plugin)\n            .mount(el);\n    },\n});\n```\n\n#### Autocompletion\n\nDuring autocompletion, the first separator will be used when rendering the list\nof components, so you should put your preferred path separator first.\n\n### `inertia.defaultExtension`\n\nWhen the extension generates hyperlinks to components that do not yet exist on\nthe filesystem, it cannot guess which file extension to use because the glob\npattern declared in `inertia.pages` may contain multiple file extensions.
