More source code — textual, visual, auditory, kinaesthetic — can be found on www.8os.io.\n\nThe visualizations of the procedures described below made using the body can be found on www.8os.io/procedures/\n\n\n```\nThe action of every person \n     into the world \nstarts \n    from their physical selves. \n```\n\n```\nThis section is comprised of the \n    settings\n    and implementation sequences\nbased on the EightOS operating system\nto render one \n    fully prepared \nto intra~act \n    with the Other,\n    with oneself, \n    with each and every one, \n    and with the totality.\n```\n\n```\nWe start from the right pre~sets\n    // bodymind dynamic form, \n    followed by techniques \n    of encounter and adaptation.\n```\n\n```\nInitiation starts with oneself \n    and then proceeds \n        to the social level. \n```\n\n\n\n\n## [0] Initial Set~up\n\n```\nIt is easy to understand, \n    that it is impossible to live \nwithout getting affected or hit.\n    // in one way or another\n\nAny disturbance within a medium –\n    stress, attack, punch, accident \n        may affect the agent.\n\nIf there are no procedures \n    to release the tensions \nthat are obtained over time, \nthe agent accumulates those tensions \n    in the bodymind \n\n// traumas, complexes, unfulfilled gestalts, sankaras\n\nwhich then transform the psyche, the body, the intellect, \n    accumulating mutations along the way. \n\nOne may not want to be a mutant.\nOne may just want to be \n    closer to themselves, \n    but their experience of themselves \n    is ready for trans~formations \n        and trance~formations.\n\nTherefore, \n    it is important to know \nhow to receive the external shock \n    and how to deal with it, \nmaintaining a certain degree of \n\n    relaxation,  // tension only where it is needed \n    state~form con~dition \n    // condicere ‘agree upon’, agreement between parts\n    attentivity  // at~tention\n    sensitivity, resilience,  \n    fluency, flexibility // fluidity\n```\n\n\n## [1] Neutralization Pre~set\n```\nIn order to be fully \n    open and sensitive \nand to increase the adaptive capacities \n    of the body,  \n\nit’s necessary to neutralize \n    all the existing tensions \nwithin bodymind:\n    set all the faders and all the toggles \n        to their central position  \n\n\nany habitual tensions \n    that exist within your body/mind \nshould be set to minimum \n    and even better to zero.\n\n// symmetry of the bodymind state~form con~dition\n\nthere is only \n    here, \n    now, and \n    the force of gravity.\neverything else is non~existent.\n    #con~dition #sensitivity #align~ment\n\n// sensation of hanging from upside down\n\nany habitual patterns, expressions, \n    tensions, compensations, complexes \nare disposed of as they are not needed.\n\n\nThe state is achieved through \n        continuous scan of the body \n                from top to bottom, from bottom to top,\n        aligning each part of the body \n                along the vertical axis of gravity / spine.\n```\n\n\n## [2] Metastability Pre~set\n```\nMetastable state [M] – ∞ – \n    dynamic non-equilibrium stability: \n        stability is maintained \n              while dis~turbances are relatively small.\n\n/* unstable transitionary state [T] – stability is disrupted \n    even when the dis~turbances are relatively small – \n    nervousness, fear, aggression, exciteability\n    stable state [S] – stability is maintained \n    even when the dis~turbances are relatively big – \n    stubbornness, laziness, rigidity, comfort */\n\nTo increase adaptative capacities,  \n    it is recommended to set the system \n         into Metastable state [M]\n```\n\n```\n// in order to be prepared\n```\n```\nSpecial agents do not patiently suffer, \n    nor do they live in their comfort zone [S].\nSpecial agent can only rest, \n    observing whatever it is that is happening [M];\n\nSpecial agents are prepared for changes, \n    to move along a more or less constant, \nand yet changing trajectory: \n    strange attractor, \n    metastable chaotic behavior.\n\n/* but not constant movement towards somewhere [T]\n    perpetual transitionary state, Transnomia;\n    a symptom called liquid modernity, brought with \n    the neoliberal state of things; constant search \n    for the new, easy excitement, constant anxiety, \n    superficiality */\n```\n```    \nmore on this subject – the book called \nLiquid Modernity \nby agent Bauman\n\nwww.transnomia.com\n```\n\n```\n#fluidity #fluency #relaxation #connectedness\n```\n```\nIn order to achieve metastable state~form, \n    and maximize their adaptive capacities \n\nthe agents should establish \n    several interacting rhythm~loops \n    in their body/form \n\nThose parallel processes \n    will keep each other in check \nand can bring the system back \n    to the state of non-equilibrium stablity \nwhen one of the processes goes astray. \n```\n\n\n*we can relate this to the notion of homeostasis – small deviations from stability are regulated through various substances released to bring it to the stable state. if the deviations are too big, the organism shifts to a new state.*\n\n\n\n```\nThe following preset combination is recommended \n     to achieve metastable state:   \n\nset your attention to the area of your nutro \n    2 cm below navel\nset your breathing to a stable constant rhythm, \n    inhaling into the area designated above, \n        activating the gut neurons \n\nlet every inhalation \n    spread to the whole [body sphere] \n            for full activation of \n                all body parts \n                and the immediate surrounding.\n\nimagine a wave that is \n    spreading through the whole body: \n        starting from nutro \n            towards the top then bottom, \n                following a closed trajectory \n                (nutro – spine – head)\n\nconnect the breathing rhythm \n    to internal count and movement \n        (for example, steps or heartbeat) \n        for internal phase~beat synchronization\n\nset internal rotation following \n    ∞ trajectory (horizontal 8), \n    in the area of nutro (visible or invisible). \n\nsync the rotation with breathing.\n(part of trajectory inhale, part – exhale)\n\n/* for example: right forward, right backwards, \n    left forward, left backwards, right forward, etc. */\n```\n\n```\npendulum breathing and movement: \nphases of movement are in sync with the phases of breathing (the breathing rhythm is leading the movement)\nbreathing in motion – in order to increase elasticity of breathing and nervous system: inhale on 1 step, exhale on 1 step (inhaling through nose, exhaling through mouth). inhale on 2 steps, exhaling on 2 steps... and so on until 10, then “de-escalate” down to 1. \nfurther – continue walking but counting inside (not with the steps), moving the speed and velocity of your movement, stopping sometimes, making sure the breathing rate stays the same (2-3 counts inhale, 2-3 counts exhale)\n```\n\n\n## [3] Assimilation, En~gagement and In~filtration \n\n```\nAfter the initial pre~set routine for the internal \n     con~dition has been completed, \nthe agent moves on to active intra~action \n    with the environment, medium, and external impulses.\n#intra~action #multiplicity #adaptation\n\nAny inter~action is perceived as \n    an intra~action – something that is in between, \n    creating a new system entity // rather than 2 parts\n\nWhen dealing with an external entity \n    there is always another element \nhowever, together you form a unity \n    common structure;\nthe resulting assemblage is \n    what the agent is working with.\n\n// not “you” and “me” but “us together”\n```\n\n```\nThe in~tention and at~tention are directed\nto the common mass~center of the structure.\nIntra~action \n\nThe strategy of en~gagement, demonstrated below, \n    shows what has to be done \nwhen there’s an already existing flow \n    coming from an external entity.\n```\n\n## [3.1] En~gaging into an Existing Flow\n```\nThe first action that needs to be performed \nin order to start intra~action – en~gagement\n\n// en – in, gage – pledge oneself (to do something’)\n\nEn~gagement implies the existence of an external flow \n   that one can integrate into.\n\n// Surfing\n```\n\n```\nTwo strategies of engagement are recommended \nwhen there’s an external impulse, \nwhich cannot be avoided\n```\n```\nto minimize the impact and to return the system to its initial state\nto follow the impulse and to use its force to bring the system to a new state\n```\n```\nIn order to choose the right strategy, \n    it is necessary to estimate \n        the incoming force \n\nusing experiential approach.\n// in order to gauge its intensity\n\nThat means that any incoming impulse  \n    is always em~braced, \n        without any opposing tension, \n    the first seconds of acceleration \n        are in~corporated \n\n// that can also be used in business and politics\n\n    in order to estimate the force \n        of the incoming impulse.\n```\n\n\n## [3.1.A] Weak Impulse =\u003e In~corporation \u0026 In~filtration\n```\nIf the incoming impulse is not considered \n   threatening for the structure, \n\nit is possible to in~corporate it \n\n// let it enter into the bodymind \n\nand to em~brace it, \n   using the following sequence:\nnon~tension towards incoming tension \n\n/* there is no use in responding to force with a force that is opposing */\n\naccepting direction of the incoming impulse \n    ad~justing the bodymind form~structure \nto the incoming impulse \n\n/* for instance: creating the same momentum as the speed of incoming movement */\n\nacceptance, em~brace, and absorption \n\nletting it pass through\n\n// without leaving any tension within \n\ntaking it with you\n\nAs a result of the action performed above \n   agent’s bodymind~form will be slightly affected \n   temporarily adjusting its current state \n\nbut only \n   to later embed itself \ninto the common form~unity\n\n   taking control of the mass-center.\n\nthe agents stand opposite of each other, \none pushes the other into different parts of the bodymind structure\nthe one who is being pushed is in~corporating the incoming impulses into their bodymind structure (eyes can be closed to improve experiential estimation), \n\nthey do so by temporarily ad~justing their body structure to accommodate the incoming impulse, and then coming back to the original state.\n\nre~ceive, re~adjust, re~direct, respond\nchange roles, let your partner win and lose \nplay with the dynamics of transferring control\nsee what happens when you resist or push stronger. test the limits.\n```\n\n\n## [3.1.A.1] Step 1: Redirection Sequence\n\n```\nThis sequence uses the already existing \n    impulses, surfaces, \nand slides across them, rather than against them, \n    to redirect the incoming flow.\n\nThe following sequence can be used to activate \nthis methodology:\n\nMove around a spac and use objects around for sudden trajectory change\nSame work on the floor: using the gravity and the floor contact points to create vectors of movement\n\n/* contemporary dance, butoh, noguchi taiso, gymnastica natural */\nWorking with a partner: the agents are walking and breathing, pushing each other occasioally. Every impulse is used by every agent to redirect their movement and is transferred further to other agents.\n\nVariation: two agents are sitting: \none is pushing the other, the other is adapting their bodyform, to make the pusher “fall” into their movement and desire:\n  1. catch the incoming impulse momentum\n  2. in~corporate this impulse\n  3. accelerate the flow\n  // similar to how it’s done in surfing.\n```\n\n```\nThis is how it is possible to capture \n    the body of the agent \nand to control it.\n\nSeduction   // from se- aside, ducere- lead\n\nA moment of passing control of the center\n\n// tango, wrestling, body manipulation\n\nSaying “yes, and” instead of “no, but”\n\n/ * To agree to everything, and to then open up new spaces for weaving the thought-threads: */\n```\n\n```\nContinue the common movement \nto find a new bodyformstructure\n\nTake your partner by their wrist and \nstart controlling their motion; \n    change roles;\n         constantly change roles, \ntake over and give up control.\n```\n\n\n## [3.1.A.2] Step 2: Dissipation Sequence\n\n```\nDissipation sequence can be initiated \n    if re~direction control-shift dynamics \nhas to be completed. \n\nIn order to prevent the dynamics \n    from escalating further \nto bring the movement within a system \n    towards an end:\n\nApply consequential contra~dictory impulses\n    (2, 3 and more)\nto various points of tension \n    in bodyform structure.\n// post-truth, fake news\nSection [3.2] of the manual describes how to identify the points of tension that should be affected. Further sequences are provided in section [4] of the manual.\n```\n\n\n## [3.1.B] Mid-Force Impact: Re~configuration Response\n\n```\nSometimes it happens that somebody says something that you simply cannot answer directly and yet it’s impossible to simply ignore it (in accordance with [3.1.A]) – maybe because we don’t like it, maybe because we cannot agree with it, but don’t want to argue.\nThat the type of cases where sequence \n```\n\n\n## [3.1.B] Re~configuration can be activated:\n\n```\nestrangement, breaking the distance\nwhen an impulse enters the control zone, \nleave the position, \n\nfree up the space\n\nmove sideways backwards \n    to enable oneself \nto enter into the newly formed structure.\nit is also possible to fully change context\n/* run away, pretend to have epilepsy attack, to fall on one’s knees in front of a horse and to go crazy */\n\nEjsksl kdsfalk asdf dasf  kdfsalka d sd sd sddoi. \nZioiap ioi oi dsfdsf i fdsioiasdf daffdas oisdf,\nfiooi adsffda ioi fdaioi a oidfas ioooam,\n    qpwoonz oiiozi  oioi 121 iozczio \nAsdf gh jkl; qwerty uiop zcvx bn you.\nYou. I love you. I love you very much.\n```\n\n\n```\n_____________\n_____________\n_____________\n```\n\n\n```\nIn the context of physical contact \nre~configuration is implemented \nusing the following procedure: \nQuick jump sideways backwards\n\nHead roll\nTo see a bunch of drunk Russian army guys walking at you and to start walking towards them even faster, arms wide open, to meet them, to not drink with them, to talk, to make selfies and to exchange contacts.\nTo slow everything down 2x\nTo start shaking uncontrollably \nTo transform into your totem animal\nFrom predator into prey\nTo do something not expected.\n```\n\n\n## [3.1.C] Strong Impact: Regeneration\n\n```\nIt may happen that the incoming impact is so strong, \nthat it is impossible to assimilate it into one’s structure     \n  without breaking it. \nIn this case, if the impact has already happened, \nregeneration has to be performed in order to fix things.\nThe easiest way is to send ripple-waves \nthrough the whole structure, \nregenerating it with the newly found rhythms \nin the emptiness that ensues. \n\n// laughter\n\nTo dissipate tension across the \n    bodymind formstructure, \nbreaking it into little particles \n\n// playing Tetris with tension\n\nSpecific sequences of intialization:\nFast burst breathing: \ninhale (through the nose, into the stomach)\nexhale (through the mouth)\nthrow down all tension, \nsend ripple waves\n    through the whole bodymind form~structure \n\nTake a pushup position, \nlower oneself to the floor, \nkeeping the body~form, shift tension \naround different parts of the body\n+ burst breathing\nDuring a difficult conversation, \nfind an object \nand start moving your hand \nalong the object \nfollowing chaotic-itinerancy patterns\nLeave the room \nBe the first one to punch\n\nRun away\n\nLaugh\n\n/* there’s a scene in Alejandro Jodorowski’s film where his parents appear to tell him that his childhood house has burned down. they seem to be angry and sad. after they leave to a hotel, Alejandro turns to his friends and tells them: “my house has burned down! que maravilloso!” (how wonderful). everyone starts to laugh */\n\nTo play Tetris \n    moving the tension\n         around the body\nTo change occupation\n```\n\n\n\n## [3.2] Creating the Flow: Initiation of En~gagement\n\n```\nIntegration into an already existing structure \nhas been loaded into memory through function [3.1]:\n    to support a conversation,  \n    to catch a wave,  \n    to make money on a trend, \n    to follow the direction of an incoming impulse \n            and to redirect it.\n\nHowever (yes, and), sometimes there are situations \n    when there are no perturbations in the environment \nno in~fluences, no pro~vocations, \n    and, therefore, no waves \nso then they should be created. \n// creativity, inventing new stuff\nIn this case, initiate the following procedure:\n```\n\n## [3.2.A] Identification of Tension Knots\n\n```\nProvocation\n\n/*  from Latin provocare ‘challenge’, from pro- ‘forth’ + vocare ‘to call’ */\n\nThis is done through im~planting a light im~pulse, \nin order to excite the external body~structure \nfor it to reveal the tension knots  \nthat are used to maintain its original shape.\nThis initial impulse is made to pro~voke. \n\nThe external structure reveals \n    its strong parts and weak parts \ncrossroads of meaning, \nimportant junctions and nodes, \ntensions knots \n\n// usually linked to fears - fear of in~stability \n\npossibilities for further interactions. \nAfter the pattern is identified, initiate the next procedure \n```\n\n## [3.2.B] Progressive Manipulation of Tension Knots\n\n```\nExamples:\nTwo agents meet. One is pulling the other by the hand. The one who is pulled gives in to the movement and lets his body change the form, revealing the points of tension that emerge. \nTo say something pleasantly-unpleasant\n/* called “neg” in the “game”:\n“you look not as tired today as usual” */\nPut low frequencies to the maximum\nTo create a need, to generate a lack\n```\n\n\n\n## [3.2.B] Progressive Manipulation of Tension Knots \n\n```\nPerformed through applying a series of impulses, \ndestined to shift the center of body~structure \naffecting it in a subsequential way \nusing the points of tension identified earlier.\n\n// the structure may reconfigure itself continuously.\n```\n\n## [4] Contextual Redirection of the Flow Intentionality\n```\nAn agent has two objectives: \n    1. To be at ease with oneself – \n\n// com~fort – from Latin “fortis” for “strong” \n\n    so that others can be at ease as well. \n    \n    2. To explore the new states – \n\nso that it’s interesting for the others\n// self-development, evolution, self-realization\n\nAs shown above, the flow can be redirected within a dynamic intra~active system, which operates in a symmetric or complimentary feedback loop [3.1.A].\n```\n\n```\nThe feedback loop may destroy itself, if its tendecy towards escalation is allowed take hold. \nConstantly shifting the roles, controlling dynamics the agent minimizes the risks and maintains stability. (remaining within the square of the context).\n\nIf there is a need to change the direction of the flow, \n    to enter a new state \nthen it is necessary to affect the current state \n    by way of a certain intentionality \na clear direction, through successive impulses    \n    which prompt the system to leave the comfort zone and to find a new one.\n```\n\n\n```\nIn order to shift a system to a new state, the current balance has to be disturbed, so that it’s easier for the system to go through changes. \nThe current feedback loop that maintains stability can be accelerated in order to overload the system and induce a shift to a new state.\nStart from studing the dynamics of interaction: the agents are activating each other and transfer impulses back and forth.\nThe resulting dybamics will be a mix of symmetric and complimentary schismogenesis. To maintain stability the agents need to respond in the way that is opposite from expected [see 3.1.A page 40). \n/* a feedback loop is reinforcing itself \n   with behavior that is expected, \n   leading to its imminent collapse */ \nE.g. In case of a symmetric loop – when an incoming impulse increases its force, do not respond with even more force (expected response), but weaken the impact to provoke the system towards de-escalation (unexpected) // losing [L]\nIn case of a complimentary loop – when the incoming force increases, do not weaken the response, but respond with even more force // winning [W], \nChaotic itinerancy is activated: LLWLWLLLWLWLLWWLLWWW. It helps the system of intra~action to keep its self-destructive tendencies in check. Deescalation. \nThe procedures above help keep the system stable. In order to shift to a new stable state, short circuit can be created. \nRapid shift of coordinates \n// unexpected, assimetric response\nIncrease current tendencies in order to bring the system towards controlled departure beyond its limits, provoking it to shift to a new state. \n/* accelerationism, exceed expectations, \n   involvement into a symmetric relation\n   and rapid shift to another level. \n   increasing the break. \n   punch in response to intention */\n```\n   \n   \n*AGPL License*","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fnoduslabs%2Feightos","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fnoduslabs%2Feightos","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fnoduslabs%2Feightos/lists"}
