You may also use it if you like.\nHowever, I don't plan to provide the same level of support for this project as I do for my other projects.\n\n## Features\n\n- Watch folders for new repositories\n- Fetch new commits from remote\n- Fast-forward only update\n- Check git stash size for each repository\n- Check for local changes\n- Ignore specific repositories\n- Execute shell commands after a successful update.\n\n## Add repositories\n\nThere are two ways to tell `geil` to update your repositories.\n\n1. Individually add repositories via `geil add $path_to_repository`.\n2. Let `geil` watch a whole directory via `geil watch $dir_to_watch`.\n   Every time `geil` is started, it will automatically detect new repositories that're up to 5 levels deep in that folder.\n\n## Update your repository\n\nJust call `geil update` to check all repositories.\nIf you have many repos, you can also specify the thread count via `--threads $count`.\n\nTake a look at the commandline options of each command via the `--help` flag, e.g. `geil update --help`.\n\n## SSH Keychain\n\nIf your SSH key is password protected, `geil` needs that key to be in your keychain.\nIt's not yet supported to ask for the password and use it only in the scope of the current run.\n\n**But** `geil` can check if a list of known keys has been added to `ssh-agent`.\nIf one of those keys isn't added yet, it will call the command to add it to the keychain for you.\n\nTo enable this behavior, just run `geil keys add $path_to_private_keyfile`. \\\nYou can take a look at the registered keys via `geil keys list`.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fnukesor%2Fgeil","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fnukesor%2Fgeil","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fnukesor%2Fgeil/lists"}
